tickled

Jill is a brilliant business owner who wanted a one-of-a-kind way to honor her clients AND celebrate the tenth anniversary of her photography business, Jookie, a portrait boutique. Here is an excerpt from her poem “Tickled”.

Getting from here to there is never a straight line.

(What fun would that be?)

It is a path lit by one hundred lightening bugs.

A map to silly,

serious love.

North = Knock Knock.

South = One plate of chocolate chip cookies.

East = Where’s my tickle duster?

West = The one you love best.

“cin’s poems are a photograph in words. She captured 10 years of my life and my love in photograph of poetry. Even now as I read it, I’m crying. I’m thinking ahead to Jookie’s 20th anniversary and may commission you again!”
